Meline Engineering: a leader in sustainable energy systems design

Meline Engineering specializes in designing sustainable, energy-efficient mechanical systems for commercial, government, public and residential buildings. We have particular expertise in geothermal heat pump, solar thermal, evaporative cooling and energy recovery systems. Since 1995, we have designed geothermal and sustainable energy systems for more than 45 public buildings and 76 residences. Our projects have included correctional facilities, office buildings, schools and large custom homes.

Industry leaders have recognized our leadership role in current geothermal technology, practices and regulations. Our team is frequently asked to speak at industry conferences. Our staff also teaches thermodynamics at Sacramento State University and lectures on geothermal energy systems design at the University of California, Davis, Extension Program.

We believe in efficient, innovative design and strive to work on projects that incorporate our ideals. We work closely with other members of the design/build team (civil, electrical, architectural and specialty contractors) with open communication and coordination of documents. Our track record of successful projects has earned us a growing list of repeat clients, and most new clients find us by way of referral.
